WHY AND HOW TO JOIN
BUSINESS ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
Business members receive the annual NJAHSA Membership Directory, all future updates, are listed on the NJAHSA website with a link to their own website, and have access to the Members Only section of the NJAHSA website. NJAHSA's Quality First Golf Classic, State Night, and Holiday Reception are popular events where business and facility members meet in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
ANNUAL MEETING AND EXHIBITION
NJAHSA holds an annual trade show in conjunction with its Annual Meeting and Exhibition in the spring. This is the largest membership event of the year with over 400 administrators, trustees, and professional staff from non-profit facilities throughout the state in attendance. NJAHSA business members receive priority exhibit space, can exhibit at significantly reduced member rates, and can attend all networking receptions.
MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS
Business members are invited to attend regularly scheduled NJAHSA membership meetings and network with the facility administrators, trustees, and professional staff who attend. Business members can submit proposals to speak at membership meetings, and have members-only opportunities to exhibit at and sponsor these programs.
COMMUNICATIONS
Business members receive NJAHSA's member publications, News Source and Quick Takes, that provide timely updates on regulatory, legislative, business and operational issues related to the needs and interests of our member facilities. Business members are encouraged to submit articles of interest for publication in News Source and Quick Takes at no cost.
ADVERTISING AND SPONSORSHIPS
Business members can take advantage of numerous advertising and sponsorship opportunities throughout the year. Sponsorship and advertising at events such as the Annual Meeting and Exhibition, Membership Meetings, Educational Programs, the Quality First Golf Classic, the Annual Holiday Reception, New Jersey State Night, and Nursing Assistants' Recognition Day, in publications such as News Source, Quick Takes, the Annual Meeting Program Book, and the NJAHSA Membership Directory, and on the NJAHSA website, are great ways to bring positive attention to your business.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
NJAHSA organizes the Annual Meeting and Exhibition and numerous other educational programs throughout the year designed to meet the diverse needs of professionals in the field of aging. Business members are actively solicited and encouraged to present educational seminars of their specialty at NJAHSA programs and can attend all events at significantly reduced member rates.
REGULATORY/ LEGISLATIVE OVERSIGHT
NJAHSA monitors, evaluates, and serves as advocate on regulatory and legislative issues that impact the quality of care that our facility members provide to the aging citizens of New Jersey whom they serve. Business members are kept informed of these issues and are encouraged to share their views with NJAHSA staff and facility members.
"As a committed NJAHSA Business Member, Sodexho Senior Services is able to effectively communicate with NJAHSA member facilities about how our products, services, and information can contribute to a higher quality of life for staff and the senior citizens for whom they provide care and support."
